The V2A test pipe plugs with silicone rubber seal are characterized by their longevity. The closures have a passage, which makes bypassing possible. They are used for testing small pipe diameters – ideal for heating and sanitary applications.
With the silicone seal, the pipe plugs are also suitable for special applications in the food industry and the like.
Characteristics
- with bypass for leak tests in the low-pressure range
- robust, long-life V2A design for shutting off pipelines from DN 12 to DN 100 mm for the heating and sanitary sector as well as for plant construction
- Silicone gasket also suitable for special applications in the food industry
- flame retardant and particularly temperature resistant from -70°C – 250°C
- max. 8.0 bar (116 psi) back pressure
Attention: from 1 bar back pressure the plugs must be secured against being pushed out.
