The manhole tester is perfect for leak tests of standard sewers with vacuum or water according to DIN EN 1610. This test is a requirement of standard DIN EN 1610 and always has to be accomplished with acceptance of construction works. The standard method fills the manhole with water and measures the sunken water height after the defined test time. However, this method is rather complicated (water consumption, prefilling time etc.), so it is often replaced with a vacuum test instead.

The manhole inspection unit (1) has a crossbeam support (2) to install the inspection unit in the manhole ring safely and easily. A threaded spindle allows (3) the height adjustment including all connections required (4, 5) for the tests with air and water.
