The special design of the ring chain knocker makes possible to disassemble, adjust, and reassemble as often as required. To do this, you need only a few minutes but no special tools.
This allows chains to be replaced without welding. Of course, the rings severely restrict the ability to run through bends, which is why ring chain knockers are only suitable for long, straight pipes.
