The portable centrifugal fan type RV315 ATEX is used for the aeration and ventilation of sewers and sewage systems or for the extraction of gases and vapours from sewage systems and is designed for operation in explosion hazard zones where explosive atmospheres may occur, i.e. a mixture of fuels in the form of gases, vapours and mists with air.
The centrifugal fan achieves a much higher pressure than a conventional axial fan. The air flow is bundled and directed in a compressed direction, making the units more suitable for ventilation with long hose lengths.
